AzaSite Plus^™

ISV-502 (AzaSite Plus™) is our lead development candidate for the treatment of conditions such as blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis that involve both bacterial infection and inflammation. ISV-502 is a topical combination antibiotic/corticosteroid product formulated with our patented DuraSite® drug delivery vehicle to enhance the retention time of the dug on the surface of the eye with the goal of reducing treatment time. In clinical studies conducted to date, we have observed consistent improvement of infection and inflammatory symptoms and an excellent safety profile for this product. ISV-502 is currently in Phase 3 clinical trials.

Additional Product Candidates

We are applying our proprietary DuraSite platform to new product concepts, which are currently in early-stage development. We recently completed the formulation of two non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs that could be used for treating ocular post surgical inflammation. Preclinical testing for these product candidates is ongoing.
