S. Kumar Chandrasekaran, Ph.D. has been a Director of the Company since 1989. Dr. Chandrasekaran joined the Company in September 1987 as Vice President, Development. From 1988 to 1989, Dr. Chandrasekaran served as Vice President, Research and Development. From 1989 to 1993, Dr. Chandrasekaran served as President and Chief Operating Officer. Since August 1993, he has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors, President and Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Chandrasekaran holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.
