AzaSite Plus™(ISV-502)
AzaSite Plus™(ISV-502) is a product candidate currently under development for the treatment of conditions such as blepharitis that involve both bacterial infection and inflammation. Blepharitis, which affects tens of millions of people worldwide, causes symptoms such as redness, irritation, and scaly skin at the edges of the eyelids. AzaSite Plus is a fixed-dose combination of an antibiotic (1.0% azithromycin) and an anti-inflammatory steroid (0.1% dexamethasone). AzaSite Plus is formulated with DuraSite® drug delivery technology.
DexaSite™(ISV-305)
DexaSite™(ISV-305) is a DuraSite formulation of 0.1% dexamethasone in development for the treatment of ocular inflammation, including blepharitis.
BromSite™(ISV-303)
BromSite™(ISV-303) is a low dose (0.075%) bromfenac ophthalmic solution formulated in DuraSite and is being evaluated for the treatment of inflammation and ocular pain in the post-cataract surgery setting. Top-line results from a completed Phase I/II clinical study were reported in March, and the results of a head-to-head Phase II pharmacokinetic (PK) study versus Bromday® (Ista Pharmaceuticals) were reported in October. A Phase III study is planned.
ISV-101
ISV-101 is a low dose (0.01% to 0.04%) bromfenac ophthalmic solution formulated in DuraSite, which will be evaluated for the treatment of dry eye disease. Following IND filing in the 1st Quarter of 2011, a Phase I/II study investigating several concentrations of bromfenac in DuraSite is planned.
AzaSite Xtra™(ISV-405)
AzaSite Xtra™(ISV-405) is a higher dose (2.0%) of azithromycin ophthalmic solution formulated in DuraSite. InSite Vision has completed all formulation/stability data and all GLP toxicology work to support global IND and/or IND-equivalent filings. AzaSite Xtra will be pursuing a once-daily, three day dosing regimen for the treatment of ocular infections, such as blepharitis, belpharoconjunctivitis, or bacterial conjunctivitis (Pink eye).
ISV-102
ISV-102 is a tetracycline-based ophthalmic solution formulated in DuraSite, which will be evaluated for the treatment of ocular infections. InSite Vision has completed formulation/stability and is currently evaluating advancing ISV-102 to formal GLP toxicology studies to support global IND and/or IND-equivalent filings.
ISV-620
ISV-620 is a prostaglandin analog ophthalmic solution formulated in DuraSite, which will be evaluated for cosmetic eyelash enhancement (lengthening, thickening and darkening eyelashes). InSite Vision has completed formulation/stability and is currently evaluating advancing ISV-620 to formal GLP toxicology studies to support global IND and/or IND-equivalent filings.
ISV-215
ISV-215 is a prostaglandin analog ophthalmic solution formulated in DuraSite, which will be evaluated for treatment and/or prevention of high intraocular pressure (Glaucoma). InSite Vision has completed formulation/stability and is currently evaluating advancing ISV-215 to formal GLP toxicology studies to support global IND and/or IND-equivalent filings.
